Yes, I’m trained and credentialed. I’m also human, occasionally funny, and very much present in the room. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff to be meaningful!
A little bit about me: I grew up listening to punk, hardcore and metal music that helped open my world to alternative lifestyles and social justice work. I began getting involved in community activism and outreach and have years of experience in grass roots organizing. These experiences taught me to meet people where they are with dignity, trust, and compassion.
I have been doing this work for ten years because I’ve seen, up close, how much people carry and how often their pain is misunderstood or minimized. My goal is to walk alongside you honoring your experiences and supporting meaningful, sustainable change.

My therapy practice is rooted in social justice, inclusion, and the understanding that emotional distress is shaped not only by individual experiences, but also by systems of power, oppression, and inequity.
I prioritize safety, empathy, authenticity, and collaboration with my clients while recognizing how trauma, both individual and collective, can impact the nervous system, beliefs, relationships, and sense of self. In my practice I help clients identify patterns of thinking and behavior that may be causing distress, while remaining mindful that these patterns often develop in response to real social and environmental pressures while explicitly acknowledging how systemic forms of oppression affect mental health.
I support clients in building self-compassion, agency, and resilience while honoring the broader realities of the world they navigate.
